What to expect:

Whether you're brand new to chiropractic care or returning after some time away, it’s completely natural to have questions. Here's a quick overview of what your journey with us will look like, so you can feel comfortable, confident, and cared for every step of the way.

Your First Visit (45 minutes)

Comprehensive Consultation & Assessment

Your first appointment is all about getting to know you, not just your symptoms. We take a full health history, discuss your lifestyle, stress levels, previous injuries, and overall wellbeing to understand the bigger picture of your health.

We will then perform a thorough spine & nervous system exam including:

  • Neuro-Spinal examination

  • Digital posture assessment

  • Orthopaedic and neurological tests

  • Spinal range of motion

  • Neuro-development & primitive reflexes

  • X-ray referral (if required)

This visit is information gathering. Depending on your findings, we may offer your first adjustment if clinically indicated.

Your Report of Findings (20 minutes)

Personalised Care Plan & First Adjustment
On your second visit, we’ll sit down together and go over what we found during your initial assessment. We’ll explain everything in clear, simple language, so you can fully understand how your body is functioning and where we can help.

We’ll also lay out a care plan that’s completely tailored to you, your goals, and your lifestyle. Whether you're seeking relief, improving performance, or wanting long-term wellness, we’ll work with you to create a plan that supports your journey.

If you're ready to begin, you’ll receive a chiropractic adjustment during this visit.

Regular Visits (10 minutes)

Consistent, Specific Care
Ongoing adjustment visits are typically up to 10 minutes long. These sessions are designed to be efficient and effective, helping you stay on track with your care plan while fitting into your busy life.

Because we’ve already done the groundwork, these visits are focused, purposeful, and based on your unique patterns and goals. Over time, you may notice improvements not just in your symptoms, but in how your body feels, moves, and adapts to everyday life.

What Techniques Do We Use?

At the centre of our care is the nervous system, and every technique we use is chosen to support your natural ability to heal, adapt, and thrive. Our approach is gentle, specific, and always tailored to suit your individual needs, preferences, and stage of life.

While we often use manual chiropractic adjustments, these are just one part of what we offer. Drop-assisted adjustments (using a specially designed table) allow for effective and gentle spinal movement with minimal force. We also use the Activator, a handheld instrument that delivers quick and precise low-force adjustments, ideal for those who prefer a gentler touch.

Techniques such as Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT) work with the relationship between the sacrum (base of the pelvis) and the occiput (base of the skull) to help restore balance throughout the body and nervous system and to optimise cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) flow. For those who are pregnant, we use specific techniques, including approaches such as the Webster Technique, to support pelvic alignment, ease, and comfort throughout all stages of pregnancy.

When working with babies and children, our care is always extremely gentle, calming, and age-appropriate. We use light, soothing pressure to support healthy development, integration, and optimal nervous system function from the earliest stages of life.

To ensure you receive the highest standard of care, we regularly complete ongoing professional development and training, keeping our skills current and aligned with the latest evidence and best practices in chiropractic care.

No matter your age or reason for seeking care, every visit is approached with intention, respect, and a deep commitment to helping you feel and function at your best.

Re-evaluation visits:

Tracking Your Progress

To make sure you’re getting the most out of your care, we schedule re-evaluations at key points in your journey. These check-ins help us track your progress, reassess your nervous system, and adjust your care plan if needed.

They’re a great opportunity to reflect on the changes you’ve noticed—like less tension, better sleep, or more energy, and ensure your care continues to support your goals as you grow and heal.
