  • Chiropractic focuses on the function of your spine and nervous system. Your nervous system controls everything in your body, from how you move to how you heal and respond to stress. When the spine isn’t functioning well, it can interfere with this communication. Chiropractic adjustments aim to restore balance and ease, so your body can function at its best.

  • Your initial appointment is around 45 minutes. We’ll take a thorough health history, discuss your lifestyle, and complete a detailed chiropractic assessment to understand how your nervous system is functioning. We may refer you for x-rays if clinically appropriate. No adjustments are given on this first visit, our focus is on gathering the information we need to care for you safely and effectively.

  • Ongoing adjustment visits are usually around 10 minutes. These sessions are focused and efficient, designed to keep your nervous system functioning well while fitting easily into your day.

  • You’ll receive your first adjustment on your second visit, after we’ve reviewed your findings. This visit (called the Report of Findings) is 20 minutes long and includes a clear explanation of what we found and a personalised care plan based on your goals.

  • No referral is needed. You can book directly with us at any time.

  • Yes, we do! If your injury is related to an accident, then ACC may cover part of your chiropractic care. Chiropractors registered with ACC can lodge claims directly, and you do not need a GP referral for this process either.

  • Yes absolutely! Caring for families is a big part of what we do. We have extra training in pregnancy and paediatric care, and all techniques used are safe, gentle, and age-appropriate.

  • Chiropractic care is generally very safe when provided by a qualified and registered chiropractor. We always take the time to assess your individual needs and tailor our approach accordingly.

  • This depends on your individual health goals, your lifestyle, and how your body responds to care. We’ll discuss this with you in your Report of Findings and recommend a plan that suits you best.

  • Just wear something comfortable. You won’t need to get changed, and we always respect your personal space and comfort during each visit.
